Live in Female Companion – 3 days per week, 4 weeks Mid March 2027

Our family of 5 provides care for mum, a 78yo widow. Mum lives with us and is self caring but needs supervision and assistance with lifting, cooking, light laundry, making appointments and diary management, light cleaning/tidy up, assisting with breakfast and light lunch, making tea and ensuring mum is safe. Mum likes to read, watch sport and have a rest each afternoon so our Companion's days are not too rushed or busy allowing you plenty of time for quietness too.

We will be travelling from mid March- mid April (approx 4 weeks) and need someone to stay with mum and provide the supervision for us. We have already full formal caring support to take her to her activities and a wonderful extended families to provide dinners.  We are looking for a companion for mum approx Monday 8pm-Friday 9am. Our companion would have their own room and bathroom,  travel and leisure time Friday 9am- Monday 8pm each week.  Our large family home backs onto beautiful hinterland state forest and in <2km nice walk from bus line to all major stations. We have room for your caravan/trailer if this is a travel stop for you.

Payment and living arrangements to be negotiated- we are looking for someone who can genuinely replace our family's love and care for a short time, whilst having the opportunity to explore the wonderful Gold Coast. We are keen to engage the services of someone soon, so we can begin to connect with you well before we go, knowing who we are entrusting mum's care to.
