House/pet/farm sitters wanted (Yarra Valley~Healesville) – October 2026

Hello travellers! 

We are looking for experienced animal loving Grey nomad/s to farm and house sit our little hobby farm in October, in exchange for a lovely free camp site. 

We have a friendly indoor cat, a super chilled Kelpie dog, some chooks &  three horses, which need feeding, and looking after.  If you have horse experience, that would be a huge bonus, especially with rugging.  

We are located in the pretty Yarra Valley (about an hour from Melbourne) on a 10 acre farm with a beautiful garden, horses, chooks and friendly animals. Wineries, popular tourist spots, Nationals Parks, bush walks etc are a short drive, and we are a great base to set up roots and access this area.  

Healesville township is minutes drive from our property.  We can supply power, which can be hooked up to the shed or house, and water, with a gravelled area to set yourself up.  There are also bathroom & laundry facilities, in our house, if needed and welcome to use. 

We are open to an extended stay in exchange for some help around the place, if you wanted to explore the area longer. 

Telstra & Optus are the best mobile coverage from our property, others can be a limited, but signal can be picked up in  Healesville.
