Educator / Governess Position / Commencing August 2026 Location: 60 minutes SW of Mundubbera, QLD
We are a Christian family of six seeking an energetic, experienced and caring Educator/Governess to join our family for the remainder of the 2026 school year.
If you are passionate about rural education, enjoy working independently, and are looking for a rewarding role in a supportive family environment, we would love to hear from you.
The Role

Your primary focus will be supervising and supporting the daily education for our two eldest children (Year 3 and Prep), ensuring a positive and faith-based learning environment.

Helping with light household duties

Assisting with meal preparation when required
We are looking for someone who is
-
Experienced in education or has a strong professional background working with children.

Organised, self-motivated and able to work independently

Patient, enthusiastic and reliable

Comfortable living and working in a rural setting.

A current driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle.

Blue card and police check required
Hours
-
Monday to Friday, generally aligned with school hours.
Please note: meals are not provided as part of this position
On-Property Setup: On-property housing is currently limited; the successful applicant will need to provide their own self-contained accommodation or caravan. The property is fully equipped with reliable Telstra mobile reception and unlimited Starlink internet.
